4400 Watt Open Frame Inverter Generator

When the power goes out for two days, the freezer and the furnace fan are what you actually need running. This 4400 watt open frame inverter generator runs on a 208cc four stroke air cooled OHV engine with a 2 gallon tank, giving about 7 hours at half load before a refill. Inverter output means cleaner power than an old contractor generator, so a laptop or a router is not at risk, and at 56 pounds in a 18.9 by 18.9 by 15.15 inch frame one person can shift it. An ECO switch drops the engine speed under light loads to stretch the fuel.

• 208cc OHV Engine: A four stroke air cooled engine built for long outage runs.
• 7 Hours At Half Load: The 2 gallon tank keeps essentials going through the night.
• Inverter Output: Cleaner power than a basic generator for sensitive electronics.
• ECO Mode: Throttles the engine back on light loads so a tank lasts longer.
• 56 Pound Open Frame: A roll bar frame one adult can carry to where it is needed.

Note: Carbon monoxide from this generator is invisible, odourless and kills, often within minutes. Never run it indoors, in a garage, a carport, a basement, a shed, a crawlspace, under a deck or in any partly enclosed space, and opening the doors or windows does not make that safe. Run it outdoors only, at least 20 feet from the house with the exhaust pointed away from every door, window and vent, and away from your neighbours' openings too. Fit working carbon monoxide alarms on every level inside the house and test them before you need them. If anyone feels dizzy, sick, weak or confused while it is running, get everyone into fresh air immediately and call emergency services. Stop the engine and let it cool before refuelling, never refuel it hot or running, and keep petrol and the running engine well apart. Never plug this generator into a wall socket to feed house wiring, because backfeeding can electrocute a utility worker and start a fire; a transfer switch fitted by a licensed electrician is the only safe way to connect it to house circuits. Keep it dry, out of rain and snow, and standing on a dry level surface, never on wet ground, and plug in only outdoor rated extension cords in good condition. Read the manual before the first start.
