These are whole dried black soldier fly larvae, oven dried so they stay crunchy and loose in the box rather than clumping into a block. The 10 pound carton holds 4.55 kg and pours cleanly, so you can toss a scoop across the run or hand feed through the fence. The label states no additives and no preservatives, and nothing else is added to the larvae.

Whole Dried Larvae: Every piece is a full larva, not a meal or a pressed pellet.

Ten Pound Carton: The box holds 4.55 kg, enough to last a small flock a long while.

Loose and Pourable: Dried so the larvae stay separate and scoop straight from the box.

Scatter or Hand Feed: Toss across the run or offer a few by hand for a tamer flock.

Nothing Added: The carton lists no additives and no preservatives in the larvae.

Note: Treats like these are a supplement to a complete feed, not a replacement for it, so keep the ration as the main part of the diet and offer larvae in small amounts. Provide grit and fresh water at all times. Store the box in a cool dry place away from rodents and insects. The carton states that people with peanut or shellfish allergies may be sensitive to dried insects, so wash your hands after handling and let someone else scoop if that applies to you.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0727/9984/6626/files/Pettsy_235a4051-4109-423e-82f0-f906dcec030a.png?v=1793376811
