Ratcheting Four Function Locking Pliers
Holding a stubborn nut with one hand while you turn a wrench with the other is how knuckles get skinned. These pliers ratchet shut in stages and then lock onto the work, so you can let go and put both hands on the job. One head covers clamping, twisting, shearing and crimping across a 9.84 inch body that still fits a tool pouch. A release lever drops it back to normal plier action when you want direct feel instead.
- Ratchet and Lock: Squeeze to tighten in steps, then the lock holds the work hands free.
- Four Jobs One Head: Clamping, twisting, shearing and crimping without swapping tools.
- Two Working Modes: Switch between normal plier action and the ratcheting effortless mode.
- 9.84 Inch Body: Long enough for real leverage and short enough for a tool pouch.
- Cushioned Grips: Moulded handles spread the load across your palm on a long squeeze.
Note: These are comfort grips, not insulated electrical handles, so never use this tool on a live circuit. Check the jaw teeth and the ratchet pawl before each use and retire the tool if either is chipped, rounded or worn, because a lock that releases under load drives your hand into the work. Wear eye protection when shearing wire, since cut ends fly, and keep the pivot lightly oiled.
