Yak Cheese Dog Chews

A chew that disappears in four minutes is a waste of money, and most dogs go through a rawhide stick faster than you can put the bag away. These are hard-pressed yak milk cheese bars, made from three ingredients and dried until they are dense enough to take real work. The label lists milk, lime and salt and nothing else, and the pack is marked odor free, so it will not perfume the sofa. Four chew sizes are matched to dog weight on the supplier's own chart.

• Three Ingredients: The pack lists milk, lime and salt, with no grain, gluten or lactose.
• Built to Last: Pressed and dried hard, so it holds up far longer than a soft stick.
• Four Chew Sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Monster bars matched to your dog's weight.
• Odor Free Pack: Marked odor free on the bag, so it will not scent the room it sits in.
• Handcrafted Dairy: Made by Nepalese dairy farmers from yak and cow milk cheese.

Note: Size the chew to your dog using the chart, since a bar meant for a 90 pound dog is wrong for a 12 pound one. Always supervise chewing. These bars are extremely hard, and hard chews can fracture teeth, so skip them for a powerful or determined chewer and for any dog with existing dental work. Take the piece away once it is small enough to swallow whole, and bin the last stub rather than letting your dog bolt it. Keep fresh water available and count the chew toward roughly ten percent of your dog's daily calories.
